My name is Victoria Reaves and I have been fortunate to work in the mental health field for over 30 years. I have worked in both the private and public sectors, giving me the opportunity to serve people from many walks of life. I was trained to “meet clients where they are” and have been honored that those I have worked with trusted me to walk with them through their most personal and often troubled journeys. As I began my career before “specialties” were common, I enjoyed working with clients of all ages and needs until development of programs and supervision took me into a more administrative and mentoring role. I am semi-retired now and have returned to a gentler pace which allows me to again focus my attention on supporting others as they struggle with the emotional difficulties of life. As I now work from my home through the telemental health format, I can be flexible with my schedule, and accommodate a few unconventional time requests. My experience has included working with individuals with many issues from chronic mental illnesses to stress management/problem solving, including depression, anxiety, trauma, child and adolescent issues, family dysfunction, marriage issues, and gender identity issues. I look forward to meeting and working with individuals, couples, and families who are searching for the opportunity for change.
